Production background of the Dumaroo wrist rest
An emotional keyboard wrist rest
with a trendy and unique design
Interest in mechanical keyboards seems to be increasing recently.
I'm also obsessed with mechanical keyboards and have several of them.
Since these mechanical keyboards generally have a high overall height of 18mm or more, a wrist rest (palm rest) has become essential.
And most wrist rests are shaped like rectangular blocks with a slope on the top.
How can I create a wrist rest that is unique and matches my keyboard?
After months of development, we've finally created this wrist rest!
Ta-da~~

Isn’t it pretty?
The name of this product, which has a unique curved surface that has never been seen before, is ‘Dumaroo’.
I got the motif from the thought that it would be really comfortable to lie down on the waves while looking at the sparkling water waves on the beach of Jeju Island.
In this way, gently undulating ridges and valleys were created like the lines of the wrist, and 'Yunseul' was expressed by making them out of curly wood that looks like shiny waves. (Yunseul is a purely Korean word meaning ripples that sparkle by reflecting sunlight.)
However, wood containing curly is rare and difficult to obtain, so Orosi's dumaroo is made by removing the curly and leaving only the ridges and valleys of the waves.
As you can see in the photo below, the center is concave so it fits along the line from the wrist to the palm!

And the round shape of the front nose allows the wrist rest to be used widely, while creating a sophisticated design that is not dull.
